Implementation of Shipping and Port Strategy in Guangxi

文章认为,实施港航强桂战略,加快港航业发展壮大港口经济,是未来十年广西经济持续快速健康发展的新主动力,是广西经济新一轮加速发展的新增长点,是广西北部湾经济区全面开放开发的突破口、切入点和关键点,是广西赶超跨越发展的潜力所在、优势所在、希望所在。广西应不失时机地实施港航强桂战略,走出一条北部经济区迅速崛起的新路子。文章提出了广西港航强桂战略的战略定位、战略目标、战略重点、新思路、新举措及要正确处理好的几个关系。

This paper considers that implementation of shipping and port strategy will strengthen the port economy and shipping development, which will become a new power for sustained, rapid, and healthy development of the economy in Guangxi over the next decade, and also will be a new growth point of development in Guangxi, moreover, with the implementation of shipping and port strategy that could as a breakthrough, entry point, or key point for fully opening-up and development in Guangxi Beibu Gulf, and also as a potential, superiority, and hope for rapid development in Guangxi. This paper based on the important significance of shipping and port strategy and successful experience of shipping and port industry in the whole nation to propose strategic positioning, strategic goal, strategic focus, and new ideas of shipping and port strategy in order to make Guangxi more competitive, and it also emphasized on several relations that need to be correctly handled during the implementation of shipping and port strategy.
