摘要
动名搭配是中国英语学习者错误最严重的搭配序列。本文基于中国英语学习者子语料库ST5和ST6,对英语专业高低年级学习者的动名搭配错误展开定量和定性的分析,并对动名搭配错误进行归因研究,将动名搭配错误的潜在原因归结于母语负迁移、虚化动词滥用、语义限制、语法结构、语用错误。本研究发现高、低年级学生在这五种错误类型上不存在显著差异,这说明这些因素在高、低年级学习者的搭配习得中已经固化,成为中介语产出的一些影响因素。学习者在习得动名搭配时,须提高输入的质量,谨慎考虑搭配的可行性和规范性,避免错误搭配的出现。
Among all the collocational patterns,Chinese English learners do the worst job in the VerbNoun collocations. Based on the Subcorpora ST5 and ST6 of Chinese Learners" English Corpus (CLEC), Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis have been conducted to find out the reasons of verbnoun collocations errors made by Chinese lowlevel and highlevel English major students. This study attributes verbnoun collocations errors to mother language transfer; overuse and misuse of delexical verbs; semantic limitation; errors of grammatical structures; errors of pragmatics. There is no significant difference between the errors made by lowlevel and highlevel English major students, which manifests that these factors have been stabilized in their collocational acquisition. Learners should pay more atten tion to the input and output of correct verbnoun collocations and the feasibility and normalizations of collocation.
