摘要
吐鲁番唐代军事文书揭示西州在玄宗开元元年(713)之前,设置赤亭、柳谷、白水、鸜鹆、银山等五镇、十戍;自开元始银山镇改戍,即西州置四镇、十一戍。其部署:以西州治所高昌城为中心向四周要道辐射状布局,与轻骑兵相辅相成,构成西州军防体系。
The Turfan military documents of Tang dynasty recorded that there were five Zhen,namely Chiting,Liugu,Baishui,Quyu and Yinshan,and ten Shu in Xizhou before the first year of Kaiyuan reign of Xuanzhong (AD 713) Both Zhen and Shu were military settings of Tang dynasty stationed at key locations Since Yinshan Zhen was renamed Yinshan Shu in the reign of Kaiyuan,Xizhou had four Zhen and eleven Shu from then on All of them had been placed on the roads around Gaochang,the capital of Xizhou,and inseparably interconnected with light cavalry,constituting a defence system
