电影的档案价值探析

与文字记录相比,电影本身的对物质现实的机械记录特性有着无与伦比的优越性,然而"电影档案"这个概念一直具有模糊性,电影的档案职能也是备受争议。不仅记录电影可以作为档案,有些虚构电影也可以作为特殊意义上的档案,电影的档案价值不仅表现在它的凭证参考方面,而且在平衡社会记忆结构、参与社会记忆的构建方面发挥着重要作用。

Compared with the written records, the films have incomparable superiority on the physical reality of mechanical record; nevertheless, the concept of film archives is always characterized by ambiguity and the functions of film archives are very controversial. Not only the documentary films but also some fictions films can be used as the special archives. The film archives don＇t only serve as the evidence or reference, but also play an important role in working on social memory structure.
