Professor LIU Duzhou is skilled in exogenous febrile diseases theory and has a unique understanding of classical prescriptions.Professor LIU is also good at using series of Chaihu decoctions.He has extensive experiences of treating hepatobiliary diseases,such as acute and chronic hepatitis,liver cirrhosis and so on.This article systematically introduces Mr LIU＇s experience of treating hepatitis leading to flank pain by using ten TCM methods,summarizing Mr LIU＇s treatment characteristics,his understanding of prescription syndrome and pathomechanism,the use of prescription and herbs and so on,in order to provide an important reference for clinical treatment.
