摘要
合格的商务翻译人才必须具备熟练的语言转换能力、较强的主体性意识、有关商务领域的一定知识及广博的百科知识等。本研究针对我国商务翻译人才培养的现状,探究商务翻译硕士培养目标的定位,试图构建译者双语转换能力的优选培养模式,以达到培养能满足市场需要的合格翻译人才之目的。这种以社会、文化、认知等诸多因素之间互动为基础的培养模式的建立和实施,可为翻译教学及研究提供一种新的视野。
A competent business translator/interpreter must be skillful in interlingual conversion,sufficiently motivated by a sense of the translator's subjectivity,and thoroughly familiar with the business world by possessing an encyclopedic knowledge about a wide range of relevant subjects.Proceeding from this general assumption,this paper surveys the current state of business translator/interpreter training in China and,on the basis of the findings that result,proposes some curricular objectives for the MBT(Master of Business Translation) programs so as to help bring about a market-oriented optimal mode of pedagogy for cultivating qualified translators/interpreters.Stressing the need to base such a mode on an interaction among relevant social,cultural,cognitive factors,this paper calls for a fresh perspective on translation teaching and research.
