Research on Content-Based Tourism English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

高职旅游专业英语教学的现有教学模式不能满足日益增长的旅游业对人才的需求。内容依托英语教学能够将公共英语教学和专业英语教学相整合,在培养学生英语基础知识和基础能力的同时,丰富学生人文、历史、地理等知识,使学生具备市场需要的职业素养和职业能力。

The current teaching mode of higher vocational tourism English cannot meet the increasing needs of tourism talents. Content-based English teaching can integrate public English teaching with professional English, so it can cultivate students＇ basic English knowledge and basic abilities, and enrich students＇ knowledge on humanity, history and geography in the meantime. This method can help students acquire the vocational accomplishments and abilities needed by the market.
