The paper takes the underground parking yard of Shenzhen metro as an example and discusses in detail the first firefighting design for an underground parking yard in China. It focuses on the design of firefighting compartment and water firefighting system, among which, the water curtain system is applied to the firefighting compartment and the firefighting separation in metro industry for the first time.
