影片中的历史景象不全是编造出来的,因为真实的历史往往比故事里的人物和事情还可笑,这就是魔幻历史主义的创作态度。把可笑的历史以故事的形式演绎成电影并在市场上大卖其钱,这就是科学现实主义的制片策略。是的,这样的电影很庸俗,但庸俗自有其道理;这样的制片方针和讨巧设计,在中国电影历史上早已有之,那就是新市民电影。《让子弹飞》中就是新市民电影在2000年以后大陆上映的新版本,也是继第五代导演张艺谋之后,第六代导演代表人物之一的姜文,面对市场生态做出的选择之一。
Not all the historical pictures in this film are fictional,because the characters and plots in a history tend to be more comic than those in the story,which is the creation attitude of hallucinatory historicism. It is a production strategy rooted in scientific realism to adapt a comic history to a story and film it,and then earn good money in the market. This kind of film seems philistinism,but there is something in it. Such production strategy and creative design are not new in China’s film history, because new townsfolk - film is a master in this field. Let bullets fly is one of new versions of new townsfolk - film,which have come on in mainland since 2000. It is also Jiang Wen’s choice in such a market ecology,who is a representative of the sixth generation directors,after Zhang Yimou,the fifth generation director.
