Diosgenin is an important chemical raw material and has relatively wide application in the pharmaceutical industry.It is widely concerned because of its high medical value and high economic value.This paper summarized the research on the extraction and separation technology,detection method and pharmacological action of the Diosgenin in recent 5 years.
