生源危机之论——基于上海电机学院的视角

生源是学校生存和发展的命脉。我国高等教育当前仍处于扩张发展期,高校间对资源的竞争日趋激烈,而对生源的竞争也逐步升级。伴随人口基数下降等因素,近几年生源基数持续下降,生源危机或不可避免。上海电机学院作为一所新生本科院校竞争力较弱,但应积极应对,着力于增强办学实力,依靠发展专业特色,注重打造应用性学科品牌,密切联系企业,拓展培训项目与国际生源,争取异地高考等政策支持,从而确保平稳长久发展。

The source of students is the lifeline of the university survival. The current higher education of our country is still in the period of expansive development, the competition for resources is becoming increasingly fierce, and the competition of student source is escalating. With the decline of population and other factors, the base number of student source continued to decline in recent years, the crisis of the student source is inevitable. As a new undergraduate colleges, the competitiveness of Shanghai Dianji University is weak, but we should ac- tively cope with it, enhance the strength of running a school, rely on the development of professional character- istics, pay attention to the brand of applied discipline, closely contact with enterprises, expand training projects and international students, endeavor to policy support for college entrance examination in different place, so as to ensure the stable long-term development.
