从中国文学作品的英译看汉英翻译人才的培养——以《骆驼祥子》英译本为例

On the Cultivation of Translators from the Perspective of Translation of Chinese Literary Works——A Case Study of English Versions of Luotuo Xiangzi

世界全球化的到来给中国的发展提供了契机,借此弘扬中国文化成为了重中之重。而翻译在中国文化走出去的过程中起着举足轻重的作用。本文试以《骆驼祥子》四个英译本为例分析中国文学作品的英译,要么被无情地改写,要么被误译,进而提出有关汉英翻译人才培养的几点建议。

Globalization has brought about golden opportunities for China＇s rapid development. Chinese are supposed to further promote Chinese culture. Translation has played an important role in the transmission of Chinese culture. This paper, based on the case study of the four English versions of Luotuo Xiangzi, tries to make an in-depth analysis of the translation of Chinese literary works, either relentlessly rewritten or mistranslated. Consequently, the paper tries to put forward some feasible suggestions on the cultivation of translators for translating Chinese literary works.
