Research on magnetic separation process of ultrafine magnetite from South Australia

摘要 介绍了澳大利亚南部某地磁铁矿石特点,依据矿石性质制定了选矿工艺方案。采用阶段磨矿—弱磁选—磁筛工艺,可以获得精矿产率37.82%、铁品位64.68%、全铁回收率79.38%(磁性铁回收率94.24%)的铁精矿。该矿的选矿工艺采用粗磨条件有效抛尾保证了有用铁矿物的富集,并大幅降低下段选别作业的生产压力,同时采用磁筛精选工艺对该铁精矿的精选提质起到关键性作用。 The characteristics of a certain magnetite from South Australia were inlroduced, and its corresponding beneficiation process was described. Through the process of stage grinding-weak magnetic separation-magnetic screening, the iron concentrate with the yield of 37.82%, iron grade of 64.68% and total iron recovery of 79.38% (the magnetic iron recovery of 94.24%) was obtained. The ore beneficiation process involving effective tailing discard in coarse grinding conditions guaranteed the enrichment of useful'iron minerals, and significantly reduced the production pressure of the following production stage. In addition, the magnetic screening process played important role in concentration and purification of the iron concentrate.
