It＇s known that the purpose of learning a language is for communication. While helping a language learner acquire a lan- guage, it is necessary for teachers to help them improve their communicative competence. This paper is to explore the red,sons which cause the low output of oral English, and put forward some suggestions of solving the problem as well.
