Recent years, with the mileage of the freeway rapidly increasing in China, the development of the freeway has had a great influence on the road passenger transportation industries. This article analyzes such aspects as the profitability, market shares, vehicle technology and average transportation distance. What is more, it points out the key points that affect the total functions of the freeway in the road passenger transportation industries and its improved suggestions.
