牙周病与缺血性脑血管病关系的研究进展

Research Progress on Relationship between Periodontal Disease and Ischemic Cerebrovascular Disease

近年来,越来越多的研究表明,牙周病与心血管疾病相关,并可能是动脉粥样硬化发生的危险因素,但对于牙周病与缺血性脑血管病之间的关系仍存在争论,机制尚未完全阐明。目前研究认为,牙周病所致的全身炎症反应、血管内皮细胞早期损害、血小板聚集反应等均可直接或间接地参与动脉粥样硬化的进程,与缺血性脑血管病的发生和进展密切相关。本文就牙周病与缺血性脑血管病关系的研究进展进行综述。

For the past few years, more and more studies indicated that periodontal disease is associated with cardiovascular diseases （CVD）, and it＇s supposed that it is a risk factor of atherosclerosis. The association between cerebrovascular disease and periodontal disease is still disputed, and its mechanism is indefinite. Presently, many studies indicated the systemic inflammatory response, early vascular endothelial cell damage and platelet aggregation response which are due to periodontal disease are involved in the process of atherosclerosis and the occurrence of cerebrovaseular diseaseand development. This essay is to explain the association between cerebrovascular disease and periodontal disease based on the correlative studies in recent years.
