As a literary phenomenon, romanticism has come into being since ancient times in China' s literary history. What distinguishes the romanticism in the 1920s from that of the ancient times is that it has the distinctive character of "modem" which is centered on individualism. The romanticism in the 1920s is characterized by the fact that individual "r' was raised to an unprecedented position, and that the writer was regarded as the center of creating, thus a new school of art came into being. It puts emphasis on the writers' status as the main body in literature creating and the leading role in aesthetic activities.
