The development of the modern service industry within the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone cannot be separated from the support by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. It is concluded that the zone can raise its level of modem service industry for the optimization and upgrading of its industry structure in the following three aspects., the use of the service transfer, the fully cooperation with the modern service industry in the above three regions, and the harness of the advantages and platforms from the service industry in those regions.
