Under the guidance of metacognitive strategy, the cultivation of students＇ college English autonomous learn- ing ability should combine classroom teaching with extracurricular guidance and short-term training with long-term persever- ance, draw up plan, supervise learning process, and evaluate learning activity to promote students＇ metacognitive ability.
