On the Feasibility of the Course "Situation and Policy" in Enhancing the Political Participation Ability of Undergraduates

随着高校形势与政策课功能与内容的不断完善,它在高校大学生思想政治教育工作中的作用也愈发重要,而作为形势与政策课主体和未来社会发展动力的大学生,引导其合理参政议政也是思想政治教育的重要目的之一。当前,大学生政治参与主要存在参与政治日趋理性和功利、政治冷漠、政治参与方式比较有限等几种倾向。高校形势与政策课在指导思想、功能和作用、教学内容等三个方面都可以对大学生的政治参与起到积极的作用。

The university course ＂Situation and Policy＂ has increasingly important effects in the undergraduate ideological and political education with its constant improvement of the functions and contents. As the students are the principal part of this course and the dynamic of future social development, guiding them to participate in politics reasonably is also one of the vital purposes of this education. Currently, there are several main tendencies in their political participation, such as being increasingly rational and utilitarian with political indifference and limited ways, etc. This course can play a positive role in their political participation from 3 aspects, i.e. guiding ideology, function and role as well as teaching contents.
