进入21世纪,由于经济相对衰退,美国出现了越来越严重的贸易保护主义倾向。作为世界第一经济大国,美国常常不顾其他国家的利益,推行经济霸权主义,违背自由贸易规则,对全球经济造成了极大危害。美国重拾重商主义,是为了保护美国的产业竞争力。美国关心的不是贸易自由与否,而是美国的国家利益。中美贸易失衡主要源于美国扭曲的贸易政策:限制高科技产品向中国出口。贸易保护主义既损害他国的利益,同时也损害美国的利益。美国不会因为实行贸易保护主义而挽救自己的经济衰退。

With the advent of the 21st century,trade protectionism is becoming increasingly serious in United States due to the relative decline of the US economy.As the largest economy in the world,the United States often pursues economic hegemony and disregards the interests of other countries.It violates the principles of free trade,which causes great harm to the global economy.The resumption of mercantilism aims to protect the competitiveness of American industry.The top concern is not free trade,but the national interests of the United States.The imbalance of Sino-US trade mainly lies in the distorted American trade policy-restricting the export of high-tech products to China.Trade protectionism not only harms the interests of other countries,but the interests of US as well.Trade protectionism can not prevent American economy from recession.
