Winners the more Senescent the more Sophisticated

过去二十年来王澍以艺术家建筑师的姿态通过自身的言行对中国的职业建筑师等从事建筑设计的人员展开了批判。其实这两种建筑师应该有不同的标准。包括普利茨克奖在内的有关建筑创作的艺术类奖项属于主观性的奖,而不同于科学界的那种客观性的奖。中国的科学技术奖到底属于哪种奖?王澍通过自己十年来创作获得了普利茨克奖,宁可看作是奖给朝气蓬勃的青年建筑师这个群体的和对他个人对主流建筑的批判性姿态,对王澍个人而言更应看作是一种激励,毕竟离完美还有距离。

As a Chinese Artistic architect, Wang Shu＇s saying and doing in the past 20 years inflicted a critique on Professional ones. There should be 2 criterions respectively for 2 types of architects. Any artistic prize e.g. Pritzker Prize is subjective, different from the objective e.g. for science. Which one should CSTA be？ The fact that Wang Shu won 2012 PP thanks to his critical works against the main stream architecture would rather be regarded as for all vigorous young Chinese fellows than for himself. It would rather be regarded as an encouragement, for there is distance from perfection yet.
