Wheels are important parts in automotive chassis. Its longevity test must be guaranteed accurately and strictly. This paper introduces 3 main tests concerning wheel safety, including bending fatigue test, radial fatigue test and impact test, at the same time using advanced test theory and technology, wheel longevity test has been made. Now wheel inner drum longevity test is transformed to wheel out drum longevity test, the out drum wheel longevity test could be more accurate and more reasonable to evaluate wheel lifetime. The conclusion shows that using typical spectrum of road surface roughness to extract load spectrum is becoming main stream for wheel longevity test.
