摘要
SIP协议是第一个适合各种媒体内容且实现多用户会话的协议,现在已成为IETF(互联网工程任务组)的规范。今天越来越多的运营商都在提供基于SIP的服务,如市话和长途电话业务、话音信息、多媒体会话等等。本文介绍了SIP协议的主要实体、SIP消息的主要类型以及SIP协议与H.323的区别与联系。
SIP is the first protocol that fits various media matters and can achieve multi-user conversation,while SIP has become standard of IETF. Nowadays more and more operators have provided various services based on SIP such as local calls and long-distance calls,voice message and media conversation. This article has introduced the main entity of SIP,main kinds of SIP information and the distinguish and relation between SIP and H. 323.
