This paper briefly discusses the cognitive process of reading from the perspective of cognitive psychology, exploring the relationship between languages and thought in reading, and offers several suggestions on English teaching in reading class, combining with ＂behavior-cognition approach＂, ＂brain-storming＂ and ＂schema theory＂.
