The paper briefly introduces the design process of gas-gas heat pipe exchanger used for heat recovery of heat setting machine, including the principle, procedure of designing and parameter choosing. Besides that there are also both economical and environmental benefits that the heat exchanger would bring and the period of cost recovery.
