我国诸多神话传说中包含寻母意识的神话故事并不多见,劈山救母算是其中之一,其形成与发展也经历了不同故事的流传整合。这类故事在我国较为少见的原因,除了与男权支配下的婚恋观念有关外,还与我国传统的农耕文化息息相关。

Myths which comprising awareness of seeking mother in China was less, but the myth of chopping hills to save mother was one of them. The reason why they were less in China could attribute to the traditional marriage mind affected by male power and farming culture.
