Starter and generator are the core parts of auto. Throughout the history of the development of automobile industry, the every reforming development of auto is accompanied by the replacement of starter and generator. This paper introduces the developing process and structure characteristics of auto starter. It focuses on analyzing the production, development and characteristic of auto starter light, alternator, combined starter generator or generator device.
