Brilliant Achievements and Rare Opportunities ——Retrospects and Prospects for the Development of Higher Educational Undertaking in Dazhou City

50年来 ,达州市的高等教育从无到有、从小到大 ,为达州市的经济发展和文明建设作出了积极贡献 ,但也存在着不少困难。面临党和国家实施西部大开发战略的机遇和达州撤地建市的契机 ,笔者认为 :达州市党政必须加强对高教事业的领导和支持 ,加大投入 ,组建达州市高等教育的三支“方面军”,遏制人才外流局面和提高培养人才层次 ,以实现“科教创新富达州”

Over the past fifty years, Dazhou City's higher education, growing strong out of nothing , has made positive contributions to the local economic development and civilization construction, but it has met not a few difficulties as well. In the face of the opportunities that the Party and the government are implementing the great strategy of developing west China, and that Dazhou has been turned from an administrative office into a governing city, the writer thinks that only by strengthening the leadership over and giving support to the higher educational undertaking, allocating more funds, forming the three “front armies” of the city's higher education, checking the tendency of talents' running away and raising the levels of personnel training, can the Dazhou City's Party Committee and the government achieve the strategic target of “Enrich Dazhou with science, education and creativity”.
