摘要
《道德经》里的"道"在阐释上具有极大的开放性,这使得"道"的英译产生多个变体。如果以与原作涵义忠实贴近的程度标准来解读评断"道"的英译现象并不可行。借助瓦尔特.本雅明的语言观和翻译观来解读"道"的英译可以获得关于对该现象和名词翻译的新认知。
＂Tao＂ in Laotzu＇s Tao Te Ching is open to extremely varied interpretations, leading to the variety in Tao＇s translation in English. It seems to yield little to compare the varied translations with the original Tao. New understandings about this can be reached from the perspective of Walter Benjamin＇s approach to language and translation.
