浙江省少数民族地区经济比较落后，那里的基础教育发展相对滞后，中小学生失学或辍学现象较为严重．原因何在？本文从学生、家庭和社会等多角度对学生失学或辍学原因作了剖析，并提出了建议性意见。

The economy of the minority areas is poorer than that of other areas in Zhejiang province-And the elementary education in these areas lags behind,too. The phenomenon that many students discon-tinue their studies or drop out of school is serious. This paper analyzes the reasons in the various perspec-tives of students, families and communities, and puts forward some constructive proposals.
