Positive psychological quality is sociologically highly significant for forming a proper self conceptualization and healthy social interaction, cultivating positive group awareness and pro-rooting the social harmony. Sociological factors affecting the development of college students＇ positive psychological quality mainly include family, education, peer group, social conditions and mass media. Attempts to find the sociological solutions to the development of college students＇ positive psychological quality should be primarily directed to such issues as optimizing in-campus educational surroundings , prioritizing the group management of students, carrying out off-campus social involvements and constructing social support system.
