摘要
译者是翻译的主体,由于诸种原因,其文化地位在中国多元文化系统中却一度被边缘化。其实,在文化翻译活动中,译者的地位是举足轻重的。文章以《红楼梦》两种译本为例,探究在翻译活动中译者如何进行文化改写,论证译者的主观能动性受到意识形态、政治动机以及语言文化等因素影响,创造性地将原作以源语转化成目的语。译者即如架在源语文化和译语文化之间的桥梁。
Despite that translators play an important role in cultural translations, the cultural status of the Chinese translators has been marginalized in the Chinese cultural pluralism for some reasons. Based on two versions of "Honglou Meng", this paper explores how the translators decode differeni cultures in the translation course and expounds how they creatively transform the source language into the target ology, bridge language under the condition of his initiative influenced by such factors as their own idepolitical motives, native language the two cultures of source language and culture.
