论21世纪初苏中地区的经济增长

Economic Growth in Central Jiangsu Region in the Early 21st Century

本文借助于比较优势理论的一般框架,从产业、要素、技术、制度等层面分析了苏中地区经济增长所面临的现实矛盾与瓶颈制约,并阐述了交通格局变化、区域发展重点转移、加入世贸组织等对21世纪初苏中地区比较优势变动所产生的影响,进而从产业提升、生产力布局调整、公共品投入等方面提出了发挥比较优势。

With the help of general framework of comparative advantage theories, this paper analyzes the contradiction and bottleneck of economic growth in Central Jiangsu region from the aspects of industrial performance, factor endowments, technological imputs, institutional arrangement, etc. Also the influences of traffic situation, strategical transition in regional development and access to WTO on the change of comparative advantage in Central Jiangsu region in the early 21st century are demonstrated. On the basis of that, some policy implications as for the industrial improvement, adjustment of production allocation and regulation of public goods are proposed in order to exert the comparative advantage and promote the economic growth.
