摘要
首先简要回顾了新疆百余年来的地质工作历史，在此基础上，主要从基础地质、矿产地质和地矿科研三个方面论述了新中国成立后，五十年来新疆地质矿产事业取得的辉煌成就和巨大贡献，讴歌了新疆地质矿产工作者艰苦创业、开拓进取、无私奉献的精神。最后展望了２１世纪新疆地质矿产事业的灿烂前景。
It briefly looks back on the past hundred years of geological working history, then, from three aspects of fundamental geology.mineral geology and geological scientific research, it expounds the glorious echievement obtained in geological work in Xinjiang in the past face years since the Liberation of China. It highly praises the strugling, exploiting and contributing spirit Of the geologists of Xinjiang. Finally, it looks into the promising prospect of the geological undertakings of Xinjiang for the forthcoming 21th century.
