对来华留学生人数迅速增长的思考

Reflections on the Rapid Growth of Overseas Students in China

自改革开放以来,来华留学生的人数迅速增长。这主要是得益于政策的支持、我国经济实力的增强、我国高校的重视和来华留学生奖学金制度的完善等因素。然而与此同时,我国的来华留学生教育仍存在教学质量不够高、学科专业的设置国际化程度不够、留管教师队伍比较薄弱、为来华留学生提供的硬件条件不够理想等诸多不足。因此,必须针对这些问题采取相应的措施,以促进来华留学生工作的更好发展。

Since the reform and opening up, owing to the policy and economic strength of China, the number of overseas students to China has grown rapidly. However, there are still a lot of defects in our receiving system. In this paper, the author tries to analyse the reasons of the rapid growth of overseas students in China, points out the defects concerning the quality of teaching, the setting of curriculum, the teaching staff and offers suggestions for improvement.
