On Nasser's Faults in the Third Middle East War:Examining from the Perspective of Sun Wu and Karl von Clausewitz

在第三次中东战争(1967年6月5日至10日)中,纳赛尔领导下的阿拉伯国家在战前实力原本占优的情况下却以惨败收场。造成这一结果的原因是多方面的。其中,身为统帅的纳赛尔漠视孙武、克劳塞维茨等众多军事家所揭示的战争规律和法则,在情报、战争准备、战争主动权争夺以及兵力配备等方面失误连连,成为阿拉伯国家失败的主因。

In the Third Middle East War, Arab countries led by Nasser lost at last. But their powers originally were stronger than Israel before the war. The reasons are various. As the leader, Nasser disregarded rules and principles of war revealed by strategists including Sun Wu and Karl yon Clausewitz, and make mistakes in information, preparations for war, the initiative for the war, forces with and so on. They became the main cause of failure of Arab countries.
