生态美学是在当代生态观念、环境观念和美学观念的启迪下产生的一门新兴的跨学科性的美学应用学科。生态美学是以生态存在论、生态环境价值论和生态环境伦理学为基础的新型美学形态。它以后现代哲学的"主体间性"为理论出发点,消解了主客体之间的界限,打破了西方传统哲学"主客二分"的二元对立思维方式,超越了"人类中心主义",为人们正确理解和处理人与自然的关系提供了崭新的理论基础。

Eco-aesthetics is a new interdisciplinary applied subject of aesthetics which came into being with the enlightenment of contemporary ecological,environmental and aesthetic ideas.Eco-aesthetics is a new form of aesthetics based on ecological existentialism,eco-environmental value theory,and eco-environmental ethics.It takes the intersubjectivity of postmodern philosophy as the theoretical starting point,eliminates the boundaries between subject and object,breaks the thinking way of subject-object dichotomy of traditional western philosophy,and transcends anthropocentrism,and it provides a new theoretical basis for people to correctly understand and handle the relationship between man and nature.
