For the existing problems involved in the research of ramp bridges with single column, the various factors affecting the safety of ramp bridge with single column are firstly made clear. Then the model for safety assessment of ramp bridges with single column is established. Finally, according to the structural features and the reasons for the serious diseases with respect to the ramp bridges with single column, the scientific management method is discussed, which can provide useful reference for the current management and maintenance of department of bridge.
