关于“技术修正”的思考

A Deep Understanding about Technological Fix

技术展现出来的独特"功能性"和"效率性"使得社会问题也频频向技术寻求答案,即"技术修正"。相对于社会工程倡导通过社会变革消除问题的做法,"技术修正"进路在处理社会问题上接受了人类固有的缺点,因而表现出了很大的简单性和可操作性;但是随着技术功能发挥层级的扩大,当"技术修正"在复杂的技术-社会系统中发挥作用时又表现出了很多的不确定性,这恰恰说明启蒙运动倡导的通过技术达致社会进步的观念只不过是一种佯谬而已。因此对待"技术修正"我们应该有合理的态度。

Humankind gets used to seek technological solutions for social issues because of the unique functionality and efficiency unfolded by tech- nology. This is Technological Fix. When solving a social problem, it is normal for social engineering to provoke a social change, while Technological Fix accepts the inherent Shortcomings of the human, thus it is much simpler and easier to operate relatively. However with the expansion of the func- tional levels, Technological Fix demonstrates uncertainty when working in a complex social-technical system, which means the notion promoted by Enlightenment Movement that technology can linearly lead to social progress is a paradox. Therefore we need an appropriate attitude toward Techno- logical Fix.
