On the Application of Web Service with Constrained Resources

Web服务在各大领域已经得到了广泛的应用,人们主要用它来解决不同平台之间的互操作问题.然而,对于无线移动设备而言,采用传统Web服务不利于部署和实施.针对这种情况首先介绍了REST Web服务并与传统的SOAP Web服务进行比较,突出了其在RCWS中的优势;然后以Android平台为基础,设计构建基于REST Web服务的旅游信息管理交互系统,在无线移动设备终端应用Web服务技术,从而提供了一种将Web服务技术在资源受限的无线移动设备终端应用的新思路.

Web service has been widely used in various fields of the social life. It is mainly used to address the problem of interoperability between different platforms. For wireless mobile devices, however, the traditional Web service is not conducive to the deployment and imple- mentation. In view of this situation, this paper first introduces the REST Web service and com- pares it with the traditional SOAP Web services to highlight the advantage of the RCWS. Based on the Android platform, tourism information management interactive system is designed and constructed based on the REST Web services. Web service technology is applied in the termi- nal of wireless mobile devices. Ours is a new perspective of the application of Web service technology in the terminalof wireless mobile devices with limited resources.
