After introducing the principles for selecting transition tasks, transition roadmap and correlative tasks, the effects of them on the process to realize US ＂should-be＂ national PNT architecture in the future are described. This paper places emphasis on the analysis of the developing trends,focus of PNT techniques in US National PNT architecture, and maybe provide valuable references for our domestic PNT techniques development.
