Research and Improvement of the Automobile Head Restraint in Whiplash Test

摘要 针对某轿车座椅在C-NCAP鞭打试验中得分较低的现状,通过分析影响鞭打试验性能的座椅参数,改进对鞭打试验成绩影响较大的座椅头枕位置和刚度特性参数,使假人头部与头枕接触时间大大延长,从而最终使该座椅的鞭打试验成绩由变更前的1.97分提高到变更后的满分。 To improve the automobile head restraint in whiplash included in the C-NCAP test, the seat parameters affecting whiplash test performance were analyzed. It is shown that head restraint' s geometrical size and stiffness characteristics have deep impact on the result of whiplash test. The changes of head restraint' s geometrical size and stiffness characteristics prolong the contact time between the dummy head and the head restraint, so the whiplash test result is increased from 1.97 score to full score.
