World Architecture （WA）： How do you define the most important core of a project and how do you develop it？ What comes to your mind at first？ Rafael Viholy （RV）： Defining what you carl the ＂core＂ of a project is really the first design decision. And it＇s an element of design that does not have a form, essentially. That＇s the reason why I think your question is so important, because it＇s not based on a formal interest, but rather on a programmatic interest. This is the part of the project, the core, which could be improved in terms of how the building can contribute to society in the future.
