This paper discusses the contents, procedures, measures and effect of the innovative quality management of the spirally submerged arc welding （SSAW） worksite and analyzes the harm of weak worksite quality management to tubulation enterprises. It is concluded that the innovative quality management has opened a new horizon for the quality management and control in SSAW work- site.
