摘要
为了提高中子辐照剂量仪探测器的探测效率,采用蒙特卡罗方法模拟计算了常规圆柱探头和井形探头对24Na衰变时放出的γ光子的探测效率。结果显示,对于体积相近的NaI晶体而言,井形探头的探测效率远高于常规圆柱探头,同时随着井壁的增加,24Na全能峰的计数也明显提高。
In order to improve the detection efficiency of blood neutron irradiation dose detector, ^24Na decay photon detection efficiency is calculated using Monte Carlo simulation for eonventional cylindrical probe and well - shaped probe. The results showed that, for similar volume of NaI crystals, the well - shaped probe detec- tion efficiency is much higher than that of conventional cylindrical probe, and as the wall thickness increases, ^24Na peak count of the gamma spectra is also increased significantly.
