Alfred Tennyson is considered as one of the representative poets in later Romanticism in England. The thesis mainly focuses on the revealed ecological ideas in his works from the foUowing perspectives ： men and nature＇ s harmonized co -existence; desiring for the return to nature; ode to the dogged vitality.
