We Need to Cultivate the "Moral Saints"or "Qualified Citizens"?——Thoughts on the Construction of "Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis" Course

长期以来我们的道德教育拔高至圣人教育,缺乏基本的权利平等、公正参与的公民教育,结果适得其反。社会需要合格公民,为此,对于《思想道德修养与法律基础》的教学,我们必须创新教育理念、改革教材内容、完善教师知识结构,将大学生培养成为社会所需要的合格人才。

Moral education had been raising to saint education for a long time in our country while lacking citizen education such as basic equity of rights and equity participation, the result got just the opposite. Society needs qualified citizens, so, for the teaching of ＂Ideological and Moral Cultivatiou and Legal Basis＂,we must innovate education concept, reform teaching contents, improve teachers＂ knowledge structure,and train students to be qualified talents needed by the society.
