试论中药化妆品的特色与优势

中药化妆品是纯由中药制成或在化学化合物基质中添加了中药或中药有效成分的药物化妆品。与现代化妆品相比较,中药化妆品具如下特点与优势。1.历史悠久,品类齐全,剂型多样。其历史可以追溯到2000年前,至明清已形成四大类:祛污洁净类,滋养润泽类,增白染色类,芳香除臭类,基本囊括了现代化妆品的品类。主要剂型有散(粉)剂、糊剂、软膏剂、锭剂、丸剂、油剂、原汁、涂膜剂。世界上没有第二个国家积累有如此丰富的化妆品资料。2.与中医药融为一体,具明显的功能性。很难将中国古代的生活美容与医学美容截然分开,化妆品实际是中医外用药的同义语。3.以中医理论为指导,具中医理论特征,如整体观、辨证沦治、药性理论、复方配伍,具有与现代化妆品不同的思路。4.具纯天然性。总之,中药化妆品相对于现代化妆品,无论在理论指导还是在配方、剂型、使用上,都有自己的独到之处,为现代化妆品的研制提供了思路和丰富的文献资料。

Chinese herbal cosmetic is made from purified herbs, or adding herbs or effective components in chemical compound, as compared with modern cosmetic, it has following features and superiority: (1) There are a lot of kinds and varied dosage forms with a long history. The history could trace back to 2 thousands years ago. It had formed four categories since Ming and Qing dynasty, these four categories are used for dispelling dirt and clearing, nourishment and smooth, brightening and dye, fragrance and dispelling foul smell, basically include the variorms are powder, paste, ointment, troche, pills, oils, stock solution and films. There is no second country that had accumulated so much information about cosmetic. (2) It was combined with Chinese medicines and was functional. It is difficult to completely separate the China ancient life cosmetology from medical cosmetology. Cosmetic is Chinese medicine for external use in essence. (3) It is guided by theories of Chinese medicine, such as concept of wholism, diagnosis and treatment base on differentiation of symptoms and signs, the theory of nature of drugs, compatibility of compound prescription, etc. It differs from the modern cosmetic in thoughts. (4) It is purely natural. In short, Chinese herbal cosmetic is different from modern cosmetic, it has original aspects in medicinal formulas, forms of prepared drugs and use, and also it provides modern cosmetic with new thoughts and plentiful information in developing.
