摘要
采用 DSM-3 三维实体造型软件,对 600 MW汽轮机高压缸体铸件的动态充型 过程进行了计算机辅助设计.首先根据工程图在 AST386微型计算机上生成该铸件 的三维实体图形,并在屏幕上显示。将生成的铸件三维实体图形水平剖分成若干层。自动计算出每层的高度、体积等参数,然后计算出不同工艺条件下钢水在形腔内的动 态上升过程。通过对各种动态充型过程的分析;实现充型过程的优化设计。
This paper introduces the method of computer aided design of dynamic filling process for large steel castings. The software employed in the study is DSM-3 (Dot Solid Modeling-3). First of all the 3-dimensional (3-D) graph of the castings which are shells of 600MW turbines is generated on the screen of the AST386 microcomputer. Then the graph is dissected according to the need of the design. The volume, height and surface area of the dissected sub-bodies of the graph are calculated automatically by the computer. After- wards the instantaneous rising speeds of liquid steel in mould cavities for five different pouring processes are computed. Compared with the conventional design methods the computer aided design may predict dynamic behaviors of the melt in mould cavities and makes it possible to optimize filling proeess for large steel castings.
